This record-breaking song crossed over 1 million views on Youtube and has been extremely popular in the U.S and is also the most downloaded Kannada movie video song. The movie was screened for more than 100 days and set a history for a comedy movie by grossing over INR 8-9 crores in revenue.
Parul has also acted in Malayalam movies; in one of them, she was paired with the Malayalam super star Prithiviraj. In 2013, her movie Bachchan in which she was cast opposite Kicha Sudeep directed by Shashank was a blockbuster. The film grossed over INR 15 crores and had completed over 50 days of box office success. The audience and media had much appreciated her role and acting.
